What is HEROBOARD PILATES™?
HEROBOARD PILATES™ is a performance-driven, low-impact training method designed to build strength, control, and muscular endurance through intentional movement.
The method centers around the HEROBOARD™, a compact wheeled training platform that challenges stability, balance, and precision throughout every exercise. Because the board moves with the body, participants must continuously engage their core and stabilizing muscles to maintain control.
Trusted by boutique studios, independent instructors, & performance facilities

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a certified Pilates instructor to join?
No. While a background in fitness, movement, or coaching is helpful, the HEROBOARD PILATES™ certification is designed to teach you the method from the ground up.
We work with both experienced instructors and those looking to expand into a new modality.
Do I need to own a studio to get certified?
No. Many of our instructors are independent and run classes through pop-ups, private sessions, or rented spaces.
You do not need a studio to start building with the method.
What happens after I get certified?
After completing the certification, you’ll have the ability to begin teaching using the HEROBOARD PILATES™ method.
To officially teach and operate under the brand, instructors and studios must apply for and maintain an active license. This includes being approved and listed within the official HEROBOARD PILATES™ network.
This ensures that all certified partners are aligned with the method, brand standards, and overall experience.
How do instructors and studios typically use the method?
Independent instructors use HEROBOARD PILATES™ to launch their own classes, events, and private training offerings.
Studios integrate the method into their class schedules as a premium, differentiated modality that enhances their overall programming.
What makes HEROBOARD PILATES™ different from traditional Pilates?
HEROBOARD PILATES™ is a performance-driven, low-impact training method designed to build strength, control, and muscular endurance through intentional movement.
The method centers around the HEROBOARD™, a compact wheeled training platform that challenges stability, balance, and precision throughout every exercise. Because the board moves with the body, participants must continuously engage their core and stabilizing muscles to maintain control.
This creates a highly engaging, coach-led experience that feels fundamentally different from traditional reformer or mat-based Pilates.
Is this just about learning how to use the board?
No. This is a full certification in the HEROBOARD PILATES™ method.
You’ll learn how to coach, program, and apply the method in real-world settings—not just how to use the equipment.
How do I know if this is the right fit for me?
The best next step is to book a certification call with our HQ team.
We’ll walk through your goals, your background, and what you’re looking to build to determine if this is the right opportunity for you.
